☺︎ The Traditional cannolis recipe is with Ricotta Cream, but you can use Whipped Cream or Cream Cheese or Vegan Cream.

☺︎ With the same recipe we can make traditional cannoli (fried), baked cannoli (my own recipe) and also the "Chiacchiere": Italian carnival fried cookies.

We just made Cannoli with Gianfranco and it was so much fun. I am a terrible cook but even I could keep up and make amazing Cannoli. Gianfranco is really great at explaining everything and was happy to chat to us about Italian culture and other foods we could try making. I feel a lot more confident to try new recipes now and would definitely take a class with Gianfranco again, especially if he starts offering other recipes online too. Thank you Gianfranco!

I highly recommend this experience with Gianfranco - he is smiley, amicable, and fun. He made the cannolis in his own kitchen in Milan (to show us how to make it) while we made the cannolis in our own kitchen (in Washington DC). He told us stories about his family and Sicily. He gave clear tips on how to make the pastry all the way through the experience, and he also shared his own pastry so we could see closely the example of what it should look like. Overall, the experience with Gianfranco was excellent and you'll have a lot of fun with him! - Angela

This was delightful and informative. The host was personable and went out of his way to make sure you understood what supplies were needed ahead of time, including sending a video of how to make the molds.

Spontaneously signed up for this class on a day off from work and it did not disappoint. Gian was incredibly friendly and did a great job walking through some history about this yummy Italian treat, and worked closely to ensure all participants were keeping up with the step by step instructions. Only challenge was that the audio was a bit hard to hear at times but because he sent ample instructions (and a fun playlist to listen to as you prep) it was easy to keep up! Thank you, Gian!
