☺︎ The Traditional cannolis recipe is with Ricotta Cream, but you can use Whipped Cream or Cream Cheese or Vegan Cream.

☺︎ With the same recipe we can make traditional cannoli (fried), baked cannoli (my own recipe) and also the "Chiacchiere": Italian carnival fried cookies.

This was delightful and informative. The host was personable and went out of his way to make sure you understood what supplies were needed ahead of time, including sending a video of how to make the molds.

Spontaneously signed up for this class on a day off from work and it did not disappoint. Gian was incredibly friendly and did a great job walking through some history about this yummy Italian treat, and worked closely to ensure all participants were keeping up with the step by step instructions. Only challenge was that the audio was a bit hard to hear at times but because he sent ample instructions (and a fun playlist to listen to as you prep) it was easy to keep up! Thank you, Gian!

A way to unite family on both sides of the Irish sea to celebrate a landmark birthday. The birthday girl loves all things Sicilian and was thrilled when told of her surprise. Gian was so informative about the history of cannoli and all the many variations. The younger pastry chefs (all in their 20s) also have traveled to Sicily and everyone agreed their fresh-out-of-the-oven/frier versions were the best ever. So many little tips and such an easy recipe - we bought some cannoli moulds beforehand and I am so pleased we did as I know these will be made again. And again. And again.

Lots of fun. I'm not an accomplished baker, so I was a bit worried it would be over my head. But no, Gianfranco took plenty of time to walk us through the steps. And the results are delicious!
