The Bothy is an authentic, traditional Highland dwelling, carefully restored to preserve its original features and character while providing essential facilities, warmth and comfort. A farmyard location in the midst of our highland home and in the heart of wild, romantic Perthshire, at the foot of the famous Schiehallion. Two miles from the village of Kinloch Rannoch at the head of the loch, the Bothy is an ideal base for outdoor adventures, observing wildlife or a relaxing escape from the city.

The Tin Shed, Speyside

Nestled in the beautiful Glen Isla in the heart of Speyside, the Tin Shed is an idyllic glamping hut built in the style of the mountain bothies that pepper the hills. The Tin Shed is only a short drive to the Moray coast with its stunning beaches. Castles, great walks and over 40 whisky distilleries within 30 minutes drive. The local area is also an amazing place to watch wildlife with red squirrels, red deer, pine martens, osprey and dolphins a common sight. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

The Bothy is newly built and is a peaceful retreat for two people. It’s based in the grounds of the main property surrounded by woods and wildlife. It has an ensuite shower and private hot tub. The open plan living space comprises a well equipped kitchen space, breakfast bar, lounge and king size bed. Private parking. Linen, towels and hot tub robes all included. The village of Tornagrain is five minutes away and boasts a well stocked village store. Inverness airport is just 10 minutes away.

The Star Hut at Rannoch Station

Unique, single-room glass-fronted hut in a silver birch/rowan wood on a small hill, full of character with a spectacular view 25 miles to the East. Rannoch Moor is a place of peace and tranquillity, there is no noise (after the 9.05pm train) and no light pollution. Weather permitting, you can watch the stars and sunrise while lying in bed, see deer walking in the wood, experience being cosy in the midst of dramatic weather or listen to the dawn chorus. 'Muggans' (named after the Mugwort that grows by the steps) is entirely off-grid and has everything you'll need for a comfortable and memorable getaway, including a wood burning stove to keep you cozy, a wood fired hot tub to soak in under the stars and pizza oven for luxury campfire cooking.

Situated in the Cairngorms National Park, we are located at the foot of the Cromdale hills. There is an array of things to do; hill walking, biking, fishing (salmon, sea/trout (May-Sept)), wildlife, coastal visits, whisky tasting, gin & whisky distilleries, star gazing, water sports, skiing, or just good old fashioned, simple peace & quiet :)

Snowgate Cabin Glenmore

The closest house to the Cairngorm's. Based in the very heart of the Cairngorms National Park Snow Gate Cabin is the last dwelling sitting right at the foot of the Cairngorms themselves. The cabin sleeps two people comfortably, including an open plan living/sleeping area housing a small kitchenette with an electric hob and a shower /wc room. A log burner gives the room a super cosy feel. The cabin shares a driveway with the owners whose property is next door to the cabin.
