With a long, private, single-lane approach through the pastures of old, this rustic yet modern cottage with stone walls, jacuzzi bath, and underfloor-heated stone floors will be sure to give you the Scottish rural welcome you’re after. There’s a 8 seater log fired Hot Tub and a 6 person Sauna, both of which can be rented for the duration of your stay.

A bothy bedroom in the heart of the Cairngorms

Connected to the old cruck barn this is a compact, cosy, self contained bedroom. It’s set on one side of the courtyard with separate key access so you can come and go at will. If you love the outdoors, we think you will love it here. We have spectacular views of the Cairngorms, with excellent walks from the door. Rustic, with loads of character, the room has a comfy king size bed and en suite bathroom with shower. If you need mod cons or lots of space this may not be the place for you!

Bike storage with charging. A short, safe walk into Aboyne. Aboyne Loch, old Railway line and Aboyne Golf Course are across the road, which makes for an active or totally relaxed holiday. Easy car drive North to Ballater and Braemar or on the regular buses, which stop at road end .
