We are right above Potter Marsh Boardwalk & Bird Sanctuary. 15 min from downtown & the airport. 30 min from Alyeska Ski Resort. Close to day trips; Hiking, Biking & Fishing in Anchorage. Historical renovation in progress on this 1945 504 sq ft Cottage. Meanwhile it is ready for you to rest your head on 2 full-size (1.5 people each) pull-out beds. Cottage is listed in the City of Anchorage's Historical Homes Guide. Complete kitchen, bath, laundry. Bedroom does not have a door as there is no heat source inside, but the wall furnace in the living room keeps you super cozy! 2 bus stops steps away, Downtown park 1 block & 1 more to restaurants/shops. On a main road with traffic.

The views from the large windows and deck are stunning. Try some fishing, skating, kayaking, swimming or walk the trails. Grilling on the deck or a bonfire ( ask for firewood) overlooking the lake are great evening activities. Not the outdoor type, you’ll find this a peaceful place to unwind. Located 13 miles from Wasilla makes this spot ideal as your hub to exploring Alaska. We are happy to host your pets(dogs only) pets not allowed in any beds. Excessive pet hair will be charged $50.

A short drive will take you to Anchorage, Turnagain Arm, Whittier, or Portage Glacier. Seward is close enough for a day trip for a fishing charter, a wildlife cruise, or a hike at Exit Glacier.
