Welcome! Our place is set up for family/friends relaxation time. Our 2 story log home is located in a rural neighborhood on a shallow stretch of the of the AuSable River just south of Frederic. Minutes from I-75 with park and ride access to snowmobile/ORV trails. Biking, kayaking, skiing, golfing, fishing or trail riding opportunities nearby. A 20 min drive to Gaylord and a 13 min drive to Grayling. The small scenic backyard has direct river access. Deck large enough to accommodate all guests.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Once a barn for tack and hay, now a peaceful studio suite with all of the modern amenities, including a full bath, kitchen, and laundry. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located cottage with lake access! Explore all the outdoor activities Northern Michigan has to offer no matter what season you come to visit. This recently updated 2 bedroom home is the perfect place to retreat to after a long day of enjoying the outdoors! Both bedrooms are equipped with queen beds. Standard amenities are provided to ensure a comfortable stay. Please be advised there is no washer and dryer but there is a laundromat in town.

Located on the North Branch of the AuSable River in Lovells Township known for the best trout fly fishing, you will enjoy this small peace of heaven. There are 4 cabins located approximately 20 feet from the river. A great place for small families, hunters, snowmobilers, side by sides and of course fly fishing. Originally built in 1951 to accommodate the workers of the logging industry, Lovells Riverside Cabins continue to thrive. Across the river is the Lovells Riverside Tavern

Situated 5 minutes North of downtown Roscommon. This newly renovated 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house on 8 acres is peaceful, but still close to food and fun. 3 miles south of Forest Dunes Golf Course, 1 1/2 miles south of the Mason Tract of the AuSable river, 15 minutes from the Higgins Lake state park, and surrounded by State land and National Forest. Golfing, hiking, bon fires, hunting, fishing, ATV fun, and snowmobiling are right here.

The Castaway on the Ausable River Holy Waters

Tucked into the tall pines alongside the Holy Waters. The Castaway offers an amazing location for enjoying all the AuSable has to offer. Just outside the kitchen guests will enjoy an outdoor area & firepit. The deck around the front of the home has a grill and river front view. The cabin itself sits about 200 feet back from the river. Entry into the river off the property is ankle deep rocky bottom. This is not a party destination.
