You have a chinees restaurant and lots of warungs (javanese restaurants) nearby and there is a supermarket across the street. You can reach Peperpot Nature Resort within minutes. District Commewijne is the place of historical plantations situated at the right banks of the Suriname river.

Coming from the Wijdenbosch bridge you turn left and at the traffic light you turn right into the Slangenhoutstraat.

This wooden lodge is often found deep interior of Suriname, the difference being that this lodge is equipped with lights, electricity, water cooker, refrigerator and WiFi.
