Relaxing is also a part of renewal so on-site activities and the surrounding communities offer plenty of recreation and tourism opportunities. Marmutt Woods is a place to step out of daily distractions to relax and refocus. Located in the heart of the former Black Bear Lodge on Little St. Germain lake. Spend your days relaxing on the beach, swimming in clear, sandy water, or park your boat on the dedicated slip to enjoy one of the best recreational lakes in the area. Wind your evenings down enjoying the sunset at the fire pit, or watching the stars!

When you think Northern WI cabin stay, this is exactly what they should be. Small 700 square foot cabin sitting on the Moen Lake Chain just a few miles east of Rhinelander. Easy access via blacktop road that takes you right to the place. It offers 56 ft of water frontage. A small public boat landing right in front, makes it easy to get on and off the water. A new dock to tie it up for the evening on those summer stays, and drive out (at own risk) on the ice for those winter months.

Room for parking trailers, close to snowmobile/ATV trails and snowmobile/boat rentals! We supply 2 adult kayaks, 1 children’s kayak, 2 inflatable paddle boards, and life jackets. On the Pioneer Creek, you are just moments away from hunting, fishing, kayaking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, canoeing, ATV/UTV trails, bike trails, or just plain relaxing. This carriage-house apartment can sleep up to five in a bedroom, full size hide-a-bed in living room, and loft area. Canoe is available for use.
