We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Carlton River Escape was completed in 2023 and built as a peaceful hide away retreat on the back 50 acres of our property. It is nestled right beside our Swift Parrot Conservation Forest area which also shares it space with our local wallabies, wombats, echidnas, pademelons, possums, and eagles. Amid the fresh Tassie air, and the incredible forest views, you will feel completely relaxed listening to the sounds of the wildlife while enjoying the luxury of a secluded brand new home.

Experience the magic of a tiny house set amongst a grove of gum trees beside a creek around the bend from an isolated beach in a little-known corner of Tasmania. Everything is tiny, but guests tell us it has everything you need... including some luxurious touches like European linen. Surrounded by wildlife and in easy reach of a superb beach and Tasmania's finest food and drink, relax on the encircling deck or in the hammocks, birdwatch from the deck, play boules or go cycling, sit around the fire pits at night, barbeque some fine local produce or use as a base for nearby beaches, birdwatching, vineyards or bushwalking, including the Three Capes Track or trips to Port Arthur.

Derford Farm Stay cabin is located on a working farm in picturesque Bream Creek with great views of Marion Bay & Hellfire Bluff. A Self-contained, 1 bedroom cabin on wheels. Enjoy the beach walks, sunrises and sunsets. Situated 50 minutes from Hobart & a further 1 hour to Port Arthur.

The Stable at Twamley Farm

A unique 1840s converted stable located in the grounds of Twamley Farm homestead. The Stable is a beautifully renovated two storey sandstone building overlooking the hills of Twamley Farm and nestled under English oaks. The Stable features your own private outdoor cedar hot tub. The traditional wood fired hot tub offers blissful, therapeutic soaking in the beautiful surrounds of Twamley Farm.

Aerie Retreat

AERIE retreat. A private designer apartment in the bush by the water. Walk down to the very private Wilderness Deck for exclusive use of the Timber Hot Tub, Sauna and fire pit. Access to the waterfront marine reserve is also exclusively available for our guests. A brilliant spot to stay summer or winter. Watch the winter full moon rise over the ocean from the hot tub and sauna.
