Easy self check-in. Nestled at the edge of an old growth forest, half a mile (uphill) walk from Alki Beach, The Humble Cottage (THC) is a cozy, quiet, private oasis, situated far off the street. Located in North Admiral neighborhood of West Seattle, our garden cottage is also within walking distance to Schmitz Preserve Park, coffee, bars/restaurants, grocery stores and public transportation. The cottage is minutes from downtown Seattle (by car or water taxi) & 15 miles from SEATAC airport.

A relaxing ferry trip from West Seattle or Fast Ferry from downtown Seattle brings you to your own private walk in cottage, right on the edge of the water. Watch the ferries go by and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, BBQing, a forest hiking trail with sea and mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Please note: The parking lot is a few minute walk from the cottage.

We are the main residents of the property, and are excited to host you in our newly furnished guest space while you explore the city! Experience Seattle oasis living in our in-city, Wallingford neighborhood, newly renovated (completed in Aug. 2017), Mid-century modern, 750 SF, entire ground level Guest Suite. You are 3.5 miles from Amazon & Downtown Seattle & 1.2 miles from the University of Washington (main campus). We have designed the suite with Airbnb guests in mind from Air Conditioning and parking space (both are rare in Seattle), soundproofing/double pane windows, to our super easy private keypad suite access.
