But turn your back on the windows and you’ll find two very large double bedrooms, an enormous open plan living space equipped with beautiful leather furniture and an ultra-modern kitchen. Fully furnished, including large screen plasma TV, wifi and luxury finishings with lots of storage space. Kitchen is fully fitted - toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, oven. And when your feet touch the ground again, you’ll discover that you’re right in zone 1. A brisk walk can have you wandering in Piccadilly, Covent Garden or Trafalgar Square passing the British Museum, The National Gallery or the British Library on the way. Or Tate Modern, St Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, the SouthBank Centre, all the theatres and opera, the choice is entirely yours; take a Boris bike, or a bus from outside the door and the sights of London are all less than 10 minutes away. Clerkenwell was where London’s watchmakers plied their trade, now, you can pick up some jewellery in nearby Hatton Garden, or pad over to historic Smithfield for a meal at the Michelin starred St John. Surprisingly serene for such a central location, Clerkenwell boasts a number of historic taverns and eateries, including London’s original gastropub, The Eagle. Pick up coffee and a cake on pretty Exmouth Market before browsing the book and record shops, and then, perhaps on to Angel to hang with the trendy Islingtonites? The apartment accommodates 2 couples in 2 double beds (master is UK king size). Access to all areas. The building sits on the corner of Islington, Clerkenwell, and Exmouth Market, which are are all really exciting areas to explore with abundant shopping and dining. The British Museum, the British Library, and Covent Garden are all an easy walk away. 2 minutes to 19 and 38 bus. They come EVERY minute and take you to Covent Garden, Piccadilly and Knightsbridge. Many other bus routes close by. Angel tube is 7 minutes walk. Kings X, Farringdon, Chancery Lane, Russell Square tubes are all a 15 minute walk. You can walk easily to the British Museum, The British Library, Covent Garden ...... Sign up for Uber and nothing is far away at low cost because it's so central The bedrooms are very bright with skylights. The curtains are sheer so you may wish to have eye masks if light bothers you in the morning. I am surprised to find another apartment in this building being advertised on Airbnb for £50 a night more - it is half the size, has no terrace (I have 1500 sq ft!), no views and faces north (I am south.. and east and west - so sunrise and sunset) It is run by a management company with no personal interaction and keys need to be collected at a distant location. Astonishingly it is rented far more than my home... so if you have found my listing you are truly getting a marvellous deal ;-)))

The property is light and spacious and the reception looking out into the private garden offers a tranquil feeling. I have created a 'London Theme' throughout the property. A good sized Master Bedroom with large King Size Bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers and en-suite wet room (Shower, Toilet, Sink). Bedroom 2 has a double bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers. Both bedrooms have a wall mounted television. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over, sink and toilet. The open plan kitchen and reception is ideal to both relax and socialise. Modern but homely, large kitchen bar counter with bar stools. A large comfortable sofa and a feature ‘spitfire’ chair. Separate bistro dining table and chairs. A large wall mounted television with sound bar. Full height glass sliding doors open directly out into the fabulous garden. The garden has a bistro table and chairs and a 3 Meter king built in seating bench (with made to measure cushions for comfort). There is also a built in braai / bbq and a decked area. Stunning lighting has also been installed to offer an ambient garden experience. We provide super fast unlimted fibre broadband for your added enjoyment and convenience. My Airbnb is a ‘permanent airbnb’. The property is for the exclusive use of guests. I live just a few minutes away from the property so am generally always available to assist where necessary, answer any questions or recommendations for local bars and restaurants. If you require any printing out of documents or business services, I also have an office close by and pleased to assist. Balham is a wonderful small London suburb with a village feel, with many fabulous independent shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants and pleasant nightlife scene including bars, old-school pubs, and the Banana Cabaret comedy club. There are many parks just a short walk away, including Tooting Bec, Wandsworth and Clapham Commons for green open spaces and picnics. Great rapid transport links into Central London via Tube or Train as Balham Station is just a short 5 min walk away. Just a 5 minute walk from Balham Station which is on the Northern Line Underground and on the National Rail over-ground both offering easy quick access into the City and West End. It’s just 12 minutes on the National Rail From Balham to Victoria and then a short walk to Buckingham Palace. On the tube it’s Just 20 minutes to the South Bank (Waterloo/Embankment) and a couple more minutes to Leicester Square. For the kids wanting the Harry Potter Studio Tour there is a train from Balham once an hour to Watford Junction where you catch the short 10 minute bus ride to the Warner Bros. Studio! Parking is available on the road outside the property and I offer complimentary parking permits on request. WATER I’m often asked about the water. Water from the taps is perfectly safe to drink. USB In every room we have plugs with a USB port for easy charging of devices along with a couple of international plug adapters GENERAL My aim is for all my guests to have a relaxing and wonderful stay at my Airbnb. Peaceful Flat Close to Vibrant Dalston

The flat is my own, and I let it when I go away. Consequently it's a lovely, comfortable, easy space to rest and relax in. There's wifi, TV, DVD; and should you fancy, lots of spices in the cupboard for culinary delights. The street is quiet, if you're coming to east london to party this isn't the place for you, but if you are coming to enjoy the city, relax and be right in the heart of one of the most exciting creative areas in London, then this is a wonderful place. The flat is close to buses and the tube, and it's super easy and safe to get home from the centre at night. You have total privacy and are welcome to use the space. I’m available by text or phone. This apartment is on a quiet street in fashionable Dalston. Visit the Rio arts cinema, and browse the many cafes, restaurants, bars, hipster boutiques, and galleries that can be found right on the doorstep. Clissold Park offers plentiful open space. Bus to the end of the road, tube into town, it’s safe to get home at night. Relax and enjoy a little peace in the heart of east london

There is also easy access to public transportation, offering a 15 minute ride into downtown. The flat is in London’s financial district- Tower Hamlets, zone 2. 6 miles away from the parliament- a total 36 mins from door step to parlament, if you take public transport. Tower of London is 3.4 miles away, 30 mins if taken public transport. Langdon Park DLR station is 4 mins walk away please confirm checking time before hand. TV has netflix.
