Unique Woods Retreat ~ Quiet place in Nature

Our cabin in the woods is a quiet refuge, built with many unique features: a log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop on our property. The gorgeous metal stair railing hand designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.

Big Lake Cabin W Hot Tub/ Kayaks/PngPong/Cable/HBO

The "Sunshine Cabin" enjoys ample natural sun year around from its lofty position up in the trees. The large picture window overlooking Big Lake provides a birds eye view (partial view) of both the canopy and lake. This 81’ deep lake has an island and home to many types of fish that's why we brought fishing/recreational kayaks for our guests. The boat launch access is just 1.6 miles from the sunshine cabin. The cabin is secluded on 1.45 acres of trees. The place has 18 stairs to the 2nd floor.

Located 3 mi. west of the small town of Frederic, Mi, & situated on 20 acres of land, this rustic log cabin provides a peaceful respite from the hectic pace of urban life. The property is bounded on 3 sides by the Au Sable State Forest. Situated in a relatively remote portion of the lower peninsula, guests are virtually assured a tranquil stay. Charming Northwoods getaway on the AuSable River! With 66 ft. of beautiful AuSable frontage, this refurbished 1940's era cabin features a stunning natural stone fireplace along with an updated kitchen and bath. Sit on the screened porch with its built-in grill, or relax and enjoy a campfire as the stars twinkle above. Wood for your first fire is provided with additional wood available. Walking distance of canoe rental, restaurants & the beach, you will surely create great memories here!

Step back in time with a visit to this log cabin with retro style, modern comforts and a few surprising luxuries. The cabin is on the Sturgeon River, surrounded by cedar, pine and birch trees. The screened porch has been described as feeling like you are in a treehouse yet the town of Indian River is very close and easily accessed even by foot. It’s perfect for the couple who want a getaway with plenty of opportunity for adventures but also a comfortable and stylish space to relax.

The Elkhorn Log Cabin, located in the scenic town of Wolverine, Michigan, has undergone a meticulous restoration to create an ambiance of warmth and charm. The restoration process involved the careful use of locally sourced, reclaimed woods and materials, resulting in a rustic yet refined atmosphere. The strategically placed windows provide stunning views of the surrounding forest and encourage natural airflow. In my opinion there is not many places that surpass this idyllic location.

This modern rustic Up North cabin that offers 120 feet on the Thunder bay river! Cabin is located on a private Rd. which gives you the true Up North feel but is only a 15 minute drive to Alpena! Enjoy fishing, kayaking, tubing, swimming as well as hikes on the nearby state land! Property has it's own boat launch, fire pit and also 6 kayaks (4 adult and 2 kids) for you to use! Cabin also includes WiFi, smart TV, outdoor grill.
