Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This cabin was built in the 1950's for housing dairy workers. It sits on 11 acres. This area is an old dairy farm. Lots of family history here going all the way back to WWII. 1 bedroom with queen size bed, small laundry room, queen size fold out couch, pots and pan, dishes, microwave, stove and refrigerator with ice maker. It is located close to the town of Livingston where you will find groceries, hardware, restaurants, fuel, etc. Outdoor gazebo and fire pit in common area. It is centrally located between Hammond and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. An easy drive to everywhere you want to be! Plus, it’s fully loaded with everything you will need.

The Yellow Cottage on the River (w/ Dock Access!)

Our quaint yellow cottage sits on a quiet street where you have plenty of space to hear the cicadas and breathe in the Louisiana air. We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.
