Just down the hill is Whakaipo Bay recreational area with calm swimming waters and access to the W2K track. Our home is perfect for anyone who is looking for a rural outlook only minutes from town. It is the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy the view!

Lochwood is a light, spacious and warm retreat. Scandi, homely decor. A home-away-from home with a well-equipped kitchen, espresso machine, and tea and coffee facilities. There is NO wifi Our cosy cottage has two bedrooms, large bathroom/laundry space and an open plan kitchen, dining, living area heated by a large heat pump. The mighty Tongariro River with its world famous trout fishing pools is at the end of the road, the Turangi township is a 5 min drive or a beautiful walk past the river and the Whakapapa ski field and Tongariro crossing are only 40mins away.
