Welcome to Oscar’s House, the oldest Bed and Breakfast on Ocracoke Island. Oscar’s began in 1984 in this comfortable historic house built in 1940 for Capt. Joseph Burrus, Ocracoke’s lighthouse keeper for 16 years. The house is named for Capt. Joe’s son, Oscar. Although this house has been operating as a B&B for 38 years, this will be its fourth year under new ownership! Please join us, Robin and Chad Macek, in our new adventure! Come along as we learn more about the island and the B&B business!

Known as the John A. Kramer 1902 Historic Home, located in the Main St Historic District; we are a Bed & Breakfast. A short walk to the Harbor waterfront, downtown dining, shopping & exploring. Intimate- our 11 room inn gives you options you will only share with a small number of other, over age 12 guests. Our pool, Tavern Room, Rocking chair porch, private parking and more! All AIRBNB Guest House rooms have private baths and we are within walking distance of downtown and the harbor with our quaint shops, coffee shops, microbreweries, restaurants and public parks. If you come by boat we can arrange to pick you up as our "Harbor of Hospitality" allows you to slip for 48 hours for free!

Sunrise Over Salvo Roberts Suite (pool, hot tub)

We named this two bed suite the Bruce Roberts and Cheryl Shelton-Roberts tribute suite. It has a large private bathroom, perfect for families. One sleeping area has a kingsize bed; the other has a full bed and toddler bed. The bathroom has two sinks, bathtub, and shower. In the afternoon, take your wine glass through the sliding glass door onto the porch that runs across the back of the house for views of the sunset over the sound. Or hop into the hot tub just outside the room! NO PETS PLEASE!

Krystal Kreek Harbor. A Salt Marsh Sanctuary

Our home is over 100 years old located on a creek in the heart of Hatteras Village. Several shops, restaurants, and the beach are within walking and biking distance. You can even kayak or paddle board to some of the shops and restaurants or just paddle out to the Pamlico Sound. Wake up, have some coffee on the back deck overlooking the creek, and venture out for a day at the beach. If you are looking for a quiet place to get away, relax, and still feel right at home, this is your place.
