Welcome to our newly renovated house River Cottage, 16km from Springs Junction. Set on its own section, with mountain views, surrounded by farmland, a short walk to the fantastic Maruia river. The river is ideal for swimming, fishing, kayaking, gold panning. We are located halfway between Christchurch and Nelson, enjoy a relaxing stop off on your journey or bring the family and enjoy a fantastic rural get away. Bike tracks, walks, including the Lake Daniel's day track are in the Buller area

Tasman West - on the beach!

Our home is 'on the beach' and is situated midway between Greymouth and Punakaiki. We offer a self contained unit on the ground floor of our home. The beach is just a few steps away and is great for walking. Punakaiki is 20 minutes from the house, Greymouth is also 20 minutes and Hokitika airport is a 50 minute drive to the south. Greymouth offers a range of eateries and there is a pub and hotel in Punakaiki. We are situated on state high way 6, which is well known for its spectacular scenery.

The Cottage is very private, brand new and 50m from the main house. Full kitchen facilities with dishwasher and deck with BBQ and outside fire brazier. Smart TV with Netflix for lazy days.

With the Paparoa track huts booked for over a year in advance, the bungalow’s location in the heart of Blackball is ideal for a bright and early start to the Great Walk, a recharge after a gruelling trek, or even as a base if you are just in town to explore the unique history of Blackball.

Sunset Bach

It is a Bach, which is a small modest holiday home. Great location, beach opposite. Hosts live on site. Nearest places is Punakaiki or Charleston, either one, a 15 minute drive. Fox River is 5 minutes away, (4.5 km), where each Sunday, over the summer, there is a local market day, crafts, food etc. We now have cell phone coverage. We now have all new floor coverings, carpet and vinyl. Also a new electric stove installed.

Quiet country style accommodation unique location

Ikamatua B &B - The accomodation is set in a rural garden overlooking the village of Ikamatua. The surrounding land is our own farmland. The surrounding rivers have excellent fishing. Great walks nearby. Good stopover when heading towards glaciers if heading south or north towards Nelson, Blenheim, or Picton. The local hotel in Ikamatua does great evening meals, this is only 5mins from accommodation.

2 Bedroom 2 bathroom whitebaiters ,/bird lovers sanctuary, Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis whilst overlooking the Orowaiti estuary. Choose to explore the many bike trails, the Denniston Incline, the Punakaiki Pancake Rocks or just kayak the estuary. Or just birdwatch from the comfort of the lounge.
