A 15 min walk, 3 min drive from the town centre, and just over the driveway from our home, Kirby Lodge (cosy for 2, tiny for 4) has a completely private patio, a small kitchen with breakfast bar & seating for two, shower room, & double bedroom. Living room has pull-down double bed (see main listing for additional info) + Sky/TNT Sports, & selection of books & board games. The patio has a table, 2 chairs, sofa , & optional hot tub. Copse House is the old village Police House. situated outside of the village in two acres, with its own paddock/stables. The garden and paddock are totally dog safe and secure. Guests have total access to the paddock if required to exercise their dog. One main bedroom with double bed. However the lounge has a sofa bed that we can provide bedding for another person or couple on request. The Annexe is totally self contained, it has its own drive and enterance. A cosy, perfectly formed space in the centre of Orford, The Studio is ideally placed to enjoy this gorgeous Suffolk village. A short step to fabulous walks, Pump Street Bakery, 2 pubs, 2 restaurants, a tea room, Village Shop, Butcher & Pinneys Smokery, as well as a short drive to Snape, Aldeburgh, Woodbridge... you won't want for diversions, unless you just want to chill out on your own private patio. Ideal for a couple, a 3rd person can be squeezed in, and your dog is also welcome.

Enjoy the wonderful combination of riverside wilderness, farm animals and comfortable outdoors accommodation which is only ten minutes walk to Woodbridge with all the buzz of a lively Suffolk market town. The location is ideal for avid cyclists with picturesque trails in the surrounding area. The sleepy town of Woodbridge is just a 10 minute drive away, offering restaurants, and a beautiful marina. History buffs are a mere 2 minutes from the archaeology site Sutton Hoo and the nearby Rendlesham forest is home to a UFO trail where you might spot a real live ET!

Bluebell Pod with wood fired hot tub

Set on an adult only rural glamping site, the pod is a clever use of space with great views to the outside. It has a kitchenette at one end with a breakfast bar and a bathroom with toilet, shower and basin at the other end. The double bed is made up with luxurious bed linen with a dressing table, vanity mirror and wardrobe next to it. Outside there is a large decked area with its own wood-fired hot tub and bbq where you can enjoy views over the water and ancient woodland.

Bawdsey is also the home of radar and close to Sutton Hoo, Anglo Saxon burial site.
