A perfect base for exploring the North Wales Coast. A cosy and comfortable place to return to at the end of the day. The Point of Ayr Nature reserve is 5 minutes away, Talacre sand dunes and lighthouse, then Prestatyn further along the coast. Ty Crwn, historic beach house for Gwrych Castle

Gwrych Castle's historic beach house, Ty Crwn, has been restored to its former glory. Situated 50 metres from the shoreline, the cottage overlooks the Irish Sea and Pensarn Beach SSSI. The beach house was built by the Lloyds of Gwrych and was last used by the Countess of Dundonald for sea bathing. The cottage is dog friendly and the grounds are all secure for dogs. The views from the apartment are amazing. You are next to the sailing club and near several golf courses . Within walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. The walks in the area are many and you have direct access to the beach from the garden. Don’t leave your dog at home. I love well-behaved dogs and they will love the beach. The apartment is very quiet being well away from the main road.
