The Art House

Welcome to the Art House - a petite, quirky space up a steep driveway. Strategic location - 4 minute drive down to Petone Station where there is free parking, jump on a train for a 12 minute trip to Wellington. Jackson Street (6 minute drive) has more than than 60 restaurants, bars and cafés. From here it is a 15 - 20 minute drive to ferry terminals and CBD. There is no kitchen, just a microwave, kettle/jug and bar fridge. We live above the unit so there is noise from time to time.

This modern and architecturally designed compact 42m2 home sits on the city fringe, great location, positioned for sun and totally private surrounded by gardens. The moment you enter the property you will feel like it is your own private hideaway. *Please note you will need to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to the house which is situated behind another house on the road. The guest suite (2 guests) is a private wing of the house with its own courtyard entrance. Free parking is available. The suite overlooks the garden and the courtyard where you can relax in privacy and enjoy the sun in the afternoons.The neighbourhood enjoys plenty of birdsong in the mornings and evenings.
