Arts & Culture

This is a wonderful museum about the history and culture of Louisiana. The second floor is broken into regions and covers the many different cultures that make up this state, as well as the different celebrations we hold (including, but certainly not limited to, Mardi Gras).

Bars and Nightlife

A regular sports bar with a good beer selection. They have pool and other games, but the lovely outdoor seating is what sets them apart during fair weather. And their proximity to the house.

A whiskey bar that might be the only quiet place to go have a drink in the whole town. If they have TVs, I've never noticed, and they don't play loud music. It has a nice outside seating area in the back.
