Public transportation possible?
Although LA is car country, we do have a Metro train, buses and an Amtrak. The Glendale Beeline is a local bus, stop within walking distance of house. Will take you to Galleria, etc. From Cypress Metrolink train station (free parking), Chinatown is one train stop away, and DTLA/Union Station only two stops. From Glendale Amtrak station, within 1.5 miles of house, you are connected to Amtrak and all other Metrolink lines.
