Best ice cream! And also the other dishes are tasty. The Colombian-based crêperie chain, started by two universities students in 1980, has multiplied throughout the city, the country and Latin America and into Spain. It also has salads, soups, ice cream and other light fare. Hours may vary by location. In Colombia, it is known for hiring only single women and women in need. Tipp: There is a second floor.

Take a jacket when heading up Monserrate, the mountain lookout 10,341 feet (3,152 m) above sea level. A pilgrimage site since the 17th century, it can be reached most easily by a short cable car ride or funicular. In addition to panoramic views, it has souvenir stands, restaurants and the gleaming Basilica del Señor de Monserrate with 14 Stations of the Cross from Candelaria to the sanctuary. Leaving from the Avenida Circunvalar, the cable car operates from noon to midnight (Sundays 9 am to 5 pm) and the funicular 7:45 am to 11:45 am (Sundays 6 am to 5 pm). Especially frequented around christmas time, because of its spectacular lighting.
From the FIORI you could theoretically get there on foot. But we don't recommend you doing that. It's not safe, as there is no pathway for pedestrians, lots of traffic and the road leads through forest parts, who are unsafe.
