The cottage has an office room which could accommodate an extra guest on a sofa bed. The kitchen is fitted with a cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee machine and all necessary utensils. The open plan living room has a comfy sofa, a "42" flat screen TV, record player, books to browse through and a range of board games. The cottage has under floor heating, access to wifi, internet connection and use of a washing machine and dryer. Overlooking the flowery meadow is the south facing veranda which is perfect for watching the dramatic coastal sunsets. The cottage is situated by national trust woodland, so it is not uncommon to see birds of prey, foxes and the residential barn owl. Situated in the heart of the Pembrokeshire National Park and surrounded by National Trust land, Carren Bach cottage is part of the Southwood Estate. Spot all kinds of wildlife, surf, and discover numerous nearby villages, pubs, and restaurants. The cottage sleeps four but there is a sofa bed for an extra guest.

The cosy cottage - Clydfan

Clydfan (means 'cosy cottage' in Welsh) is one of two south-facing former quarryman's cottages looking toward the Preseli mountains. Originally two-up-two-down, the cottage was extended to the west in the 1970s for a kitchen and bathroom to be added and the two downstairs rooms are now a tiled through lounge. It's small, but set in a large garden; part wild and part lawned, so plenty of places to hide in. Footpaths lead to the slate quarries and to Glogue.
