Happy Valley Pavilions Spring Beach

Recently renovated with expansive decking spaces offering a beautiful oasis. Within a bush setting on Happy Valley Road, this architecturally designed ‘shack’ consists of 2 compact eco pavilions joined by a covered deck. There is a bush track directly to the beautiful Spring Beach - around 5-10 minutes to walk. There are two more dwellings close by, but trees, bushes and clever design offer complete privacy. Approx 6 minutes drive (4km) from Orford centre (and the closest shops/cafe's etc).

Using the shack as your base, no matter which direction you choose to venture, there’s an array of experiences and activities to explore, 20 min to Hobart Airport, 40 min to Hobart, gateway to Richmond, East Coast, Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula. Family friendly accommodation located 5-minutes' walk to the Triabunna waterfront, wharf and shopping precinct. A great place to stay if you are visiting Maria Island, Port Arthur, Richmond, Hobart, Swansea, Coles Bay, Freycinet or Bicheno which are able to be done as day trips. A very relaxing, comfortable, private and quiet home for one person or groups up to six. Recently refurbished with a coastal/country vibe. Great outdoor areas and cottage garden. Private, self-contained cabin in the Huon Valley close to Cygnet (7 min), Bruny Island & Hobart (50 min), Hartz Mountain National Park & World Heritage Area (1 hr). Bush surrounds, stunning views of the Huon River & Hartz mountains. Beaches, bushwalking, markets, relax by the fire or on the deck & admire the view. Markets every week in the valley, including the Cygnet market 1st & 3rd Sunday of the mth, Willie Smith's Artisan & Farmers Market every Saturday, 10-1.

Spring Beach Cottage

Private cottage 100 metres from the white sand of Spring Beach, on a large block in a bush setting with beautiful views of the beach, Maria Island and the Triabunna lighthouse. Birds are in abundance and there is also a resident echidna. There is a surcharge of $30 for one night only bookings. ALL PROFITS ARE DONATED TO CHARITY (tariffs less out of pocket expenses, see receipts in visitors' book)

Little Possum Shack ~ waterfront cottage

Little Possum Shack with its waterfront position is an ideal place to escape and experience a bit of shack life in Tasmania. Located on turrakana (the Tasman Peninsula) the property has views across Carnarvon Bay to Point Puer, Isle of the Dead and the Tasman National Park. One half of an 1830s sandstone barn converted to accomodation. Ideal for couples…sip a nice cuppa or glass of your favourite Coal Valley wine and relax. Curl up by the fire and read that book, or sleep in timeless surroundings. If you feel like stretching your legs, our 265Ha of farm and bushland offers tranquility and beautiful walks.
