Crooked is an all sports lake for the thrill seekers. Or it's just a quick float to the sandbar for the partiers. Mornings, evenings and weekdays are peaceful for those who like to fish, boat or kayak. Just over a mile to the 4 Corners at Lake James with dining and night life. Cap the evening off with a waterside fire!

Long Lake Cottage

Long Lake Cottage is on a 10 mph lake that is a pretty peaceful spot to relax. Enjoy bonfires, kayaking, fishing, and grilling at our place. Long Lake is a part of the Pigeon River chain that you can kayak along through multiple lakes. Less than 10 minutes from Angola (Trine University, Pokagon State Park, groceries, etc.). We hope you enjoy your stay! We have a strict cancellation policy, but we will refund you 100% of your stay if you do need to cancel 14 days before your arrival.

Well appointed Chef’s kitchen stocked with all of your culinary needs. We offer private cooking classes and during the summer historical boat tours on Lake James. While this could just be a cozy place to crash for a night, it can also be a private cooking class followed by a relaxing sunset cruise on Lake James.

Multi-level deck space and large yard great for entertaining. Sand bar off the dock makes for a great swimming area. Wifi, large screen projector/cable TV/DVD/Netflix downstairs. Cable TV/DVD in all bedrooms.
