Melkhout Farm Cottage

The charming Farm Cottage on our fully operational dairy farm between Bonnievale and Swellendam provides a serene escape. The cottage features a spacious living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and 3 comfortable bedrooms and outdoor braai. Outside you’ll be greeted by sweeping views of the surrounding farmland and mountain views with cows as your neighbours. The river flows nearby, offering opportunities for fishing or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll along its banks. We warmly welcome pets.

Melk Houte Bosch Guest Farm The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse boasts an open plan, full kitchen, dining area, a cozy living room with air conditioning, free wi-fi, a fireplace, DSTV, a separate games room with table tennis & indoor braai area along with 3 spacious bedrooms that comfortably accommodate 6 people. There is also a splash pool that is filled with water straight from the river & due to all the tannins in the water, it has a brown colour. The Farmhouse is equipped with a gas stove & inverter, so loadshedding will not affect you.

Situated right on the banks of the Breede River, it's the perfect setting for a peaceful river getaway!

Hike the nature trails right on your doorstep, or simply lap up the tranquility in our fully fitted and comfortable little cottage. Explore the amazing attractions the Langeberg area has to offer, and after a long day in the heat of the Little Karoo, relax with a glass of local wine and enjoy the African sun set from the private pool. This AfriCamps location is situated in Pat Busch Mountain Reserve. 2000 Hectares of spectacular mountain fynbos with streams, mountain dams, birdlife and various animals such as bucks, fallow deer, Nguni cows and even a very shy leopard. Our glamping tents are tucked away in the Cape fynbos and look out over a folded green valley with the Langeberg as a gorgeous backdrop. The possibilities on the property are endless and include walking trails, good bird watching, fishing and swimming.

Breede River Cottage - Malagas

Breede River Cottage encourages a recharge with the freedom that we so often forget in our busy city lives. Wakeing up to the tranquil sounds of the birds, enjoying your first cup of coffee and contemplating the fun for the day. Ski directly from the private jetty, sit on the private low tide beach, Sup, paddle, fish, MTB or just read a book, these are some of the recommended activities.
