Welcome to Paradise on The Strand in the heart of Romantic Russell. Our Gorgeous well equipped B & B suite is located in a prime location overlooking the wharf, beachfront and moorings. A few steps from all restaurants and cafes. From your private upstairs suite, enjoy the unrestricted views and savour this Paradise for yourselves. The suite is situated on a private property and not available to guest’s visitors. We charge no extra cleaning fee and appreciate our guests keeping the suite clean.

BachQ is fresh and new. Set back off the road it looks across Houhora Harbour to Mt Camel; the summit is visible from the master bedroom. To the south: children's playground 100m; Houhora Big Game Fishing Club and restaurant, wharf, boat ramp and EV charging station 200m; Houhora Heads (with historic Subritzky Homestead) 5km; Ninety Mile Beach 10km. To the north: Four Square, restaurant, takeaways, commercial wharf and petrol/diesel 500m; numerous beaches on the road to landmark Cape Reinga 70km

Old Fashioned Stunner

Original, Kiwi, 50's family bach with its own direct access to Coopers Beach. Rumpty, but comfy, and sitting on a large private section with room for cars and a boat. The bach is very private and quiet. It has magnificent uninterrupted views across Doubtless Bay, and you can walk down to the beach via a private path through the trees in 2 minutes. The bach has a heat pump, heaters and lots of blankets so that it remains cosy at night. We think it's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway!

Otherwise, for those who prefer, the local shop, cafe & liquor store is across the road! Pukenui is a great stop on the way to or from Cape Reinga. We are in the heart of Pukenui, a small quiet community. As hosts we share the property should you need any assistance during your stay.

A simple bach at the beach to relax and enjoy the view .Great location, awesome sunsets front verandah. Large fenced section .Sheltered bbq area out the back. Handy to Cape bus pickup. Great for families, couples or singles. Awesome spot. All beds made up and plenty of extra linen in the hotwater cupboard to help your self too. Lots of awesome walks handy.Apart from the beach Lake Ngatu is 5mins up the road with its DOC walking track around it.Also forestry/beach walks.
