Silk Purse Cottage (ca. 1920) is in scenic, historic Chester County, PA 6 miles from the PA turnpike. It is a completely renovated, private cottage on a 6 acre property. Perfect spot for a relaxing vacation. Visitors who are interested in gardening, history and outdoor activities will find many opportunities close by. Hike, fish, go boating or mountain biking one mile away at Marsh Creek State Park. Longwood Gardens, Winterthur, Lancaster and Philadelphia are all a short distance by car.

Wonderful Suite

This great room is part of my house that is featuring a private entrance, private bathroom, and a kitchenette but not a full kitchen. It is also an old house but well maintained in the neighborhood but not suitable for children. This vibrant architecture with brick, large porch, large windows, and a sense of the 18th century beauty. It’s also located between an highway and a main road, meaning cars noises are present. Please only book if you feel comfortable with the location, a car is ideal.

Welcome to Nova's Place, a little private oasis tucked away in the heart of Lyndell, PA. Fully renovated in 2022, this stand alone cottage has a private covered porch that's perfect for enjoying a fresh cup of coffee or tea. Take a stroll in the yard to visit with the dogs, chickens, bees, or see what's growing in the garden. Our property is just a five minute walk to the back trails of Marsh Creek State Park and the Brandywine River, and 10 minute drive into the heart of Downingtown.
