Rockin' Oz Guesthouse

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. The Rockin' Oz Guesthouse was previously a one room schoolhouse called Schoolhouse Rock. The multifamily homeschool was started in 2020 in the face of COVID and closed in May of 2024 as families transitioned to different interests. Located behind Midwest Country Clinic, it is centrally located in Bassett, NE. The guesthouse is 2 blocks from downtown and 15 minutes from Hidden Paradise in Long Pine, NE as well as the Niobrara River.

Home Away From Home

Be my guest while I am away and forget your worries in this home with rustic charm and homey feel with the property having only 2 neighbors on either side located on a quiet street. Across the street on the front side offers a city park and the back has no neighbors/ alley with a big pasture perfect for watching sunsets. A one person hottub is available on back patio under the pergola. Also on patio is a Traeger grill and firepit. Pull your car in the garage and be hidden away for your stay.

Valentine’s Tourist Tenure

Valentine’s Tourist Tenure is Located right off HWY 97 on your way to Merritt Dam. We would love to host you during your time in the Heart City! Our cozy little space has all that you will need for time away and we aim to make you to feel right at home. It is located close to the Bait shop and all of the restaurants, gas stations, Scotty’s Ranchland Foods, and more. There is plenty of room on the property for parking your RV, trailer, or boat as well. We can’t wait to host you for you stay!

The Merritt Dam Road Hill House sits high up on the hill overlooking Merritt Reservoir and the Snake River. This gorgeous cabin has vaulted ceilings, a wide open design, 2 bedrooms on the main floor, a loft with 3 beds, a cozy fire place, and 2 decks to enjoy the most scenic view of the sand hills.
