Auckland is a 2.5 hour drive away or a 30 minute flight.

In the heart of Tauranga's peaceful countryside lies this classic lockwood one bedroom cottage. Kereru cottage is located adjacent but completely separate to our family home on a 1.75ha property. Ask to feed the sheep and the chickens with us or take a tour of our organic vege garden and home fruit orchard. We’re pleased to now be providing locally sourced milk and our own organic eggs. They both pair beautifully with bread , muesli and a hot coffee from our coffee machine for your breakfast.

A cute private glamping set-up nestled in the trees alongside the Wainui River. Here, you'll have a well-equipped outdoor kitchen with power, a cosy cabin with a comfy queen-sized bed, a hot outdoor shower and bath. Explore the beautiful Wainui river on our two-person kayak or curl up with a book and do absolutely nothing at all. There are also plenty of hikes in the area. Pets (inc horses) are welcome. You have wrap-around views of the Pacific, Tauranga Harbour and the Kaimai mountain range. It's secluded, quiet, private, surrounded by bush and mountains, with private parking and a river just down the road. Beautiful sunsets and star-filled nights, close to the Karangahake Gorge and the nearby towns of Waihi, Paeroa, and Waihi Beach. Located just a few steps away from Tauranga's harbour and with a boat ramp 10 metres from the front gate you can easily enjoy boating, jet skiing, kayaking and swimming with friends or family. Or put your feet up and relax on the all weather enclosed deck and watch the world go by. In the cooler months you can enjoy local walks and cafes then snuggle up by the cozy log burner.
