We are situated in a rural location on the Killerton National Trust Estate just 20 minutes drive from Exeter. We have a clean and fresh, recently renovated self contained studio apartment with a kitchen area containing a microwave, fridge, toaster and a kettle. We are dog friendly and there are plenty of options for dog walking straight from the property.

The Old Tanyard Studio

The Old Tanyard Studio is perfectly located in the village of Whimple. Only 5 minutes walk from the main train station from Waterloo with lines to Exeter and the market town of Honiton only 10 minutes each way. A small studio with easy access to around the village. A local village store only 10 minutes walk away and 2 pubs in the town providing food.

Relax and unwind in the beautiful Devon countryside. By the Way cottage is in a small rural hamlet next to a nature reserve which has nesting Dartford Warblers. Beautiful seaside places are easily accessible; Sidmouth 5mls, Budleigh Salterton 6mls, Beer, Branscombe and Exmouth 10 mls. It's very quiet and the skies are dark at night.
