Join me on an enchanting stroll through the city center as we visit some of the major sights that you really shouldn’t miss, plus some of my favourite hidden gems. We meet at the base of Trajan’s Column, next to the Venice Square (Piazza Venezia), in the real heart of the Eternal city. After getting to know each other, I will begin to explain the ancient Imperial Forums, the unification of Italy and the rebirth of Rome during the Renaissance. The Trevi Fountain attracts millions of visitors every year and with me you will find out why! Admire its beauty as I give you the full story behind the fountain and we get to the bottom of the coin-throwing tradition. The next stop will be in Piazza della Rotunda, the location of the world-famous Pantheon. Experience this most important of Rome’s pagan temples and discover its 2000 years of history. We save the best till last: Piazza Navona, which is by far the most elaborate of Rome’s squares. We go underground where it is 16°C (60°F for us Yankees) a great way to beat the heat With over 300 km of underground tunnels surrounding Rome, even if you go out there alone, they will not let you go down by yourself, only with a guide to assure you don't get lost and become a permanent resident. We first go down to the Basilica that was built at the end of the 4th century AD above the tomb of the two martyrs Nereus and Achilleu. Then we will walk down further to the Best Preserved Catacombs of Rome. I will introduce you to the early Christian community of Imperial Rome, and of Catholicism in the city between the 2nd and 9th centuries. Ending near the Appia Antica where you are free to continue your Adventures. Everything is located in the center of Zagreb. My partner and I will greet you in front of our building and take you to the rooftop (17th floor). There you can have some refreshments while enjoying the view. The rooftop provides a 360 view of the city and its surroundings. We'll show you around, tell you some useful tips about Zagreb urban nightlife, the city architecture, the music scene and anything else that comes to mind. We'll also hand out the setlist booklets providing text translations. When everybody is comfortable we start the music performance. Think of it as a cosy and informal exclusive concert. This is an experience that works good for people intersted in the Zagreb underground music scene as well as for cultural savvy travellers who want to see Zagreb from a different, more personal perspective. Note that we meet just before sunset (so the concert can take place as the sun goes down), so the exact timing of the event can vary from month to month. Other things to note The music I am playing is in the Croatian language, but communication is done in English. I am proud to announce that in this new 2023 season I will also invite emerging new regional artists to join me onstage. Are you ready for a unique experience? You will learn how to row a traditional Venetian boat through the canals of the city! We will meet at our boat laboratory, located in the Cannaregio area. We will show you our squero (our gondole laboratory), where we restore and handcraft gondole. We will also introduce you to the world of Venetian boats, explaining their characteristics and peculiarities. After this brief introduction, we will teach you how to row with ancient techniques and show you how to use the oars and other tools in order to have a safe and accurate rowing experience :) This experience is suitable for everyone and at any age.

You will learn how to make many types of homemade pasta in a real laboratory of pasta, reviewed among the "best 10 pastificio in Rome" . We will start with handmade pasta, made with different kind of flours: like ancient grain Triticum Monococcum, Grano Saraceno (buckwheat) and wholemeal flour. We will do thin sheets dough, explanation of safe food cutting procedures, realization of three types of ravioli, tortellini, fettuccine with two typical Italian sauces. The experience includes a delicious tasting of local cheese and Italian Prosecco. We can also accomodate GLUTEN allergy guests and VEGAN guests for a very tasty fresh pasta. We will cook all pasta and the sauces made during the class, eating our different kind of pasta done, sipping good Italian wine. An express tiramisu preparation will follow as a dessert. Moreover, to all the participants will be offered complimentary, the exclusive Professional Chef Hat with logo of "Pastificio Faini". In additional to the regular program, everyday of the week a different version will be presented: Monday and Saturday Carbonara sauce; Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday Friday- CacioPepe sauce; Wednesday. Together we will discover the Prosecco Hills... beautiful places of my childhood, where I used to run freely around the vineyards! In the morning, with me and my husband, we will visit a winery located in an area with a beautiful scenery, where we will learn all the secrets of Prosecco wine making and taste some glasses of this famous sparkling wine! We will then visit a local Osteria lost in the middle of the hills, and will have an aperitivo in front of the vineyards, while listening to the delightful singing of the birds! We will meet my family, while enjoying a typical lunch in our family owned osteria, where traditional dishes are prepared using our grandma's recipes, and where the typical "spiedo" meat cooks slowly near the fire! All desserts are home made by my brother and are really a sweet end of a delicious 4 courses meal! We will visit a second winery, where we will meet friends that run a very high quality DOCG Prosecco winery and produce wines using ancient types of vines and lots of passion! Finally, in summer time only (Apr to Oct), there could be the possibility of enjoying a unique picnic experience in a stunning area in the middle of the vineyards.

Be prepared to live a unique experience, in contact with dogs and nature! Take a break from the city chaos that fills our days every day. After an introduction to the world of truffles, we will begin our hunt. You will see how the trained dogs hunt for truffles and the passion they have, this being a very rewarding activity for them. Depending on the period we will go to different types of woods and the meeting point may change. Truffle hunting is also accessible to children (my dogs will be happy to play with them!). After the truffle hunting we will have a lunch with truffle dishes. The menu is vast so I don't suggest you have a big breakfast! We also have menus for vegetarians, celiacs, vegans and we can also change it according to your allergies or intolerances. During lunch we will have the opportunity to get to know each other better, drinking good wine and eating fresh seasonal truffles. Other things to remember. Long, comfortable trousers are required (ankles must be covered). I also suggest wearing a pair of boots. If you don't have them, sneakers are fine too.

We’ll walk around the “Jewish” sector of Mitte, recalling stories and visiting places related to the absence and presence of Jewish life in Berlin. We’ll see how the stories of Berlin’s Jews shape the present of the city and help to understand how Germany recreated itself after destroying one of its most important minorities. This experience is not a passive lecture, so I invite you to participate imagining, talking and asking - all the why? and how? you feel asking -, so that you can take your own lessons and thoughts about the stories and interpretations I will share.

Aah yes, the beautiful pictures of Aurora Borealis! The best that Lapland has to offer, the Northern Lights, right? Im going to be totally honest with you: To see the Aurora is all about luck. Thats why I want you to experience other great Lappish things in a small group; to have a good time for four hours with open fire, Lappish / Finnish food, drinks & treats, stories, views, the polar night, the surrounding nature and atmosphere. And if we are lucky, the skies are clear and the universe serves us right, the Aurora Borealis will add a final touch to our shared traditional Lappish experience in the winter nature. Heres what is going to happen: –Maximum amount of people on the experience is 4. – I will pick you up at 18.00 sharp – I use four different locations depending on the weather & forecast, all of them have roughly the same “schedule”: – A short walk through the night forrest – We start a fire at the lean-to. – Free hanging around the area, spotting the borealis ect. while I cook. – The Dinner – We can try to figure out do the Borealis really hum... – I will watch the borealis radar – If theres no Borealis by the first place, we head on top Ounasvaara for different views & change for Sledging – I will drop you off where you want Other things to note: The car we use is a 2017 Dacia Duster 4x4. After taking a personal break to become a dad in 2023, I am now again available to share this unique experience with you in 2024 and I couldn't be happier. During our day, we'll be visiting one of the last remaining oyster farms in Mali Ston, where a protected species of oysters grows. Join us on the farm and learn everything about the life of an oyster. How are they grown, farmed and brought to your table in a restaurant. You will taste these oysters with a glass of homemade wine. On the hot summer days, we can swim in the Adriatic sea, to refresh your day. Now and then, I dive in for the oysters and you are more than welcome to join me. Afterward, you will have some free time in Ston to explore the salt fields and the second-longest walls/fortifications in the world, or sit down for a meal or a wine tasting. A small family restaurant in the middle of the town makes it a perfect stop for us to enjoy some local food, taste wines and see what ice cream made of wine tastes like. As our day comes to an end with our drive towards Dubrovnik, you will now know much more about the world-famous oysters of Mali Ston. You could be my model and create unique portraits with this technique. Light Painting is an art form of using torches to paint or draw in a scene while a camera shutter is left open during a long exposure photograph. You can also experiment and learn to create fantastic effects. You will also have the opportunity to use my professional tools: optical fiber, light tubes, sparkles! We created this tour to show a very unique place for those who are ready to make efforts off the beaten track! We will visit a natural labyrinth system – a 3 dimensional playground, where we will often have to clamber up steep walls and creep through narrow passages. Prepare yourself for something active! - We will meet up near the cave (30-45 minutes from the city by bus, still in the residential Budapest) - You can change your clothes at the changing room, and we will give you the necessary equipment. - We will spend 2,5-3 hours under the ground. We will discover a small part of a 30 km long multi-level labyrinth system. As the cave is practically a maze with a network of passages, we can always find the path which fits your level of fitness. In means that we can do a relatively easy tour (still challenging), or an „adrenaline-pumping” tour - it’s up to you! - The tour is very interactive with a friendly atmosphere and English-speaking expert hosts. - It’s a perfect occasion to meet new people and maybe make new frindships - as there will be situations where cooperation makes your way easier. - After the tour you can chill at the moody beer terrace of the cave. Other things to note This is NOT an outdoor experience, it doesn't depend on the weather. Age limit: 10-55 years. No prior experience of caving needed.
