As soon as you walk in time seems to stop, it will be difficult to leave. There is a magic here, perhaps it's the colors emanating from the natural walls & floor. Sunset Retreat is a hand crafted shepherds hut with all the traditional features but with all the home comforts we all like. It is within walking distance of Gwithian beach which is a 3 mile stretch of sand towards St Ives that is perfect for surfing, kite surfing, paddling and rock pooling. Also in walking distance is Gwithian nature reserve, the South West Coastal Path as well as The Red River Inn, The Rockpool and Godrevy Cafe which are all dog friendly. One dog is welcome to join in the fun.

Big groups love the 6 large bedrooms sleeping 12, comfortable spaces, full kitchen, 3 cosy living rooms with stoves, hot tub (extra cost) with views, library and baby grand piano and conservatory framing sunsets across the St Ives & Carbis Bay hills. There are 2 bedrooms (double and two single beds, plus a cot if needed). Parking, WiFi, on demand TV, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, electric, bed linen & towels are all included. Up to 2 well behaved dogs allowed on booking (apart from between July 19th and 30th August). Closed from November to February.
