Spirits - The Cocktail And Ghost Crawl
I found my success as a guide, with a belief that the best tours are craft, even a bit of art. Let me help you connect with the great city of New Orleans, by sharing tales of old and examining its drinking legacy. We’ll walk cobbled alleys, and listen to ghost stories as classic as the libations you'll be sipping upon. I've created an evening of documented ghosts, city history, drinking yarns, and Voodoo. I'll tie it all together into a cohesive experience of chills, laughs, and must-have drink suggestions. This is still well-researched history, but made fun. Let me save you from the dull recitation of New Orleans' bullet points: I put on a show. Yet, there will be no capes, no blurry photos, and no vampire tales - fabricated to suck the blood from your wallet. I use stories that are historically sourced – which makes this tour far more frightening. By using actual stories, from the cultures that created this city, you will begin to unravel what makes New Orleans so special. This event is an alternative to the stock NOLA ghost tour or haunted pub crawl, you've been endlessly scrolling through. The tour is designed for the curious, people who wish to understand the places they visit and share drinks with fellow travelers. Don't confuse this with the party-crawls. This is a professional drinking event - a genuinely full tour. Drinks are extra & not required : Size 15

Photowalk Indigenous Pov
This photowalk is lead by spirit and in love for those out there who embark on intentional experiences grounded in the will to create and connect, as opposed to consumption and cultural detachment. As a remedy to the chaotic and invasive nature of tourism and rambunctious energy of the French Quarter, I provide a soft, slow-paced, sensitive approach-leading you through the 7th ward (Treme, Bywater, St. Bernard and Claiborne). My photowalks anchor people into their bodies and out of their minds, invoking people to become present, as I foster a sense of self-awareness in the movement of the body, guided by my unique sense of creative vision in my photos-- which makes for an experience that generates enlivening feelings of fulfillment with each person I pay close attention to. Yes, if you are reading this, this is for you. Please feel free to find me on IG @ninisimonex | and click my linktree for more info! I look forward to working with you!

Hoodoo, Voodoo and a Bottle of Rum
A short walk through Congo Square culminating in a talk at my studio in the Treme neighborhood about Hoodoo, Voodoo, Black Carnival Traditions, the deeds and misdeeds of my own Louisiana Creole ancestors and other lesser known aspects of New Orleans history and culture. In my studio rum bar you will enjoy a shot of rum and a chance to check out my art and black masking Indian attire. My house has long been a place where friends come to ground themselves in the cultural vibration of the city. I am so excited to now share this experience with you! GREAT FOR GROUPS AS WELL AS INDIVIDUAL TRAVELERS!! Other things to note: THIS IS NOT A TOUR. It’s not focused on site seeing but rather an EXPERIENCE that uses a few sites as a backdrop, so if you are looking for a site seeing tour this will not meet your expectations. With that said, while the majority of my presentation will be at my studio, we will also walk the equivalent of six blocks through the park and stand in one place for long periods. Please wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated because the heat can be oppressive, especially in the summer. BTW - NO PHOTOS of my studio or myself are allowed, thank U.

This is History & Happy Hour! Grab a vodka soda while we walk through the devastating and the enlivening history of queer goblins in the French Quarter. We make bar stops. And let off in in the center of New Orlean's gay nightlife. A perfect way to start an evening out in NOLA! ... Because homoerotic vampires are culture, honey! ----------------------------------------------------- "Walking With The Gay Ghosts of New Orleans" has been profiled in multiuple travel publications. One journalist had this to say... "I expected it to be funny, campy, and crass, with some horny hearsay sprinkled in here and there. It’s all of those things—but it’s also heartwarming and illuminating, leaving us with a newfound adoration for a city we all love for different reasons."
