A short hop from the bustling market town of Skipton with its medieval castle, shops & restaurants, Embsay is a quiet village bordering Barden Moor & The Bolton Abbey Estate and very close to The Tithe Barn. Embsay has a shop, 2 pubs & a vintage steam railway station. Guests are welcome to share our garden.

The Old Middle School Addingham

Addingham is a beautiful well kept, friendly village, Ideally situated for Weddings taking place at Bolton Abbey/Tithe Barn and Priest House/Barden Tower. With excellent amenities it has everything needed for a long or short stay. 3 George Street is recorded as being the original school room situated in the centre of the oldest part of Addingham Village. It has its own designated parking space, entrance to the front of the cottage is accessed via a short non vehicle pedestrian only street.

The Weaver’s Workshop is part of Cuckoo’s Nest Farm a Grade 2 Listed, traditional 18th century Yorkshire farm. A cosy studio apartment in a tranquil setting. Located on Addingham Moorside, between the spa town of Ilkley and the market town of Skipton on the edge of the magnificent Yorkshire Dales. We provide cereal, yogurt, home baked bread, fresh free range eggs, milk and juice for your breakfast as well as tea and ground coffee, if you have any special dietary requirements just let us know.

It’s the perfect place to base yourself to explore the stunning beauty & interesting stuff the region has to offer. To the north, the stunning skyline of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, historic Beamsley Beacon and the Dales Way walking route. Ilkley, Silsden & Addingham villages close by, or stroll along the river Wharfe to Bolton Abbey & Strid Woods.
