I'm Honey Rae Zenang, Culinary Director of RTH Group. I was born in Shan State, near the Yunnan border, and left home at 18 to train as a chef in Japan, where I fell in love with drinking food culture. After 12 years sharpening my skills in Singapore, I returned to Myanmar in 2022 to open the country’s first sake bar, Kominka. Now based in Bangkok, I serve as Culinary Director for Rangoon Tea House and for Namsu, a Shan Cuisine & Sake Bar.
