A dog friendly escape in the Carmarthenshire hills

Set between the Brecon Beacons and the Gower Coast, with 10 acres of meadow bordered by a small river The Annexe offers the perfect getaway for dog owners and nature lovers alike. We have a huge variety of wild flowers and bird life and our dark skies offer perfect opportunities for star gazing. We are rural but not isolated and surrounded by castles, beaches and the National Botanic Gardens is just 15 minutes away. Further out are the Gower and Tenby beaches and walks and waterfalls of Brecon.

Two Little Ducks Cottage

Recently modernised mid terraced cottage within walking distance (1 mile) to waterfall country. This cottage is the perfect location for those looking to explore the Brecon Beacon National park with Pen y Fan just a 20 minute drive away. The newly opened Zip world tower is just a 10 minute drive and Bike park wales 20 minutes. Great range of shops, takeaways & pubs all within 1 mile. The property contains two double beds and one single. The single is better suited to a child, please see photos.

Yr Hen Stabl

Yr Hen Stabl is a dog friendly, converted farm stable full of character and charm. It is simply furnished with antique Welsh furniture and textiles. The cosy interior with wood burning stove offers a comfortable space in which to relax after long walks in the Brecon Beacons or from which to work remotely. Based near to the waterfalls, the cottage provides easy access to outdoor activities such as wild swimming, gorge walking and hiking. It is also conveniently situated for the Gower coast.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil, self contained getaway. A rustic, little lodge with a pretty kitchen Including a small fridge, grill / hob, kettle and coffee machine. A shower room. Breakfast table. Living room with a smart television. A cosy, mezzanine bedroom with double bed. There is a small, private garden to the front. Capel Cartref - Spacious Holiday Let Pet Friendly

Capel Cartref - a detached 5 bedroom holiday let, between Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) and Swansea. Graded 4 star by Visit Wales it has 4 double beds, (1 en suite), plus 1 room with 2 single beds, plus a bath and shower room. (3 bathrooms in total). The kitchen is equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, electric cooker, microwave, two fridge freezers. The lounge is spacious with extra upstairs seating . The garden is enclosed but beyond the back gate is parking for four cars.

Heol Gwys Cottage is set in the idyllic village of Upper Cwmtwrch. This tranquil property is in the ideal location for everything the area has to offer. The cottage consists of two double bedrooms upstairs along with a bathroom with a luxury bath and skylight. The ground floor boasts a large open plan dining and lounge area and a period style log burning fire (Logs not supplied). Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food.
