Imininingwane ye-Athlete Travel Grant

To use your Airbnb promotional credit from the Airbnb500 or Airbnb Athlete Travel Grant program, check your email for a notification from Airbnb (automated@airbnb.com) to accept the credit. If you’ve already accepted the promotional credit, it will be selected by default upon checkout for a specific stay or Experience you’ve chosen.

Check your credit balance

To see your promotional credit balance, go to Account > Payments & Payouts > Olympics and Paralympics credit.

Accessing the athlete hubs on Airbnb

Please note that you can only access Airbnb500 or the Airbnb Athlete Travel Grant program if you’ve accepted a credit.

To access Airbnb500:

  • Go to the Airbnb 500 hub, or on the Airbnb website (not on the app), go to your profile photo and select Airbnb500 from the drop-down menu.

When your travel grant expires

Your travel grant or credit expires exactly 12 months from issuance. You can view the exact expiration date in your athlete hub. Unless you’ve opted out of receiving these messages, we’ll also send you email reminders if you haven’t used your travel grant.

Canceling your stay

If you apply the travel grant or credit to a booking and you cancel the booking, you’ll be refunded based on the Host’s cancellation policy, which you can view upon checkout. The refund will apply to your original athlete travel grant or credit (not a personal payment method).
